an adult mentor whom they have chosen, to share their faith with each other
before affirming their faith on Confirmation Sunday.
"Service

too. These are volunteer hours that
students perform. We keep a record of
these hours so when the students go to college or look for employment, we can
give references for them. Volunteers
hours are very important when applying for college or a job. The "Volunteer Service Hours"
record sheets are available in the classrooms, on the desk in the hallway
(upstairs), in the narthex, or ask Sandy or any other staff member. Students may begin accumulating “service
hours” in the 3rd grade.
Acolyte and Nursery

in 7,8,9 grades help in these areas. A
schedule is set up for them.
Babysitting: we have a list of
students who like to do babysitting.
This list is kept in the Christian Education office so we can help young
parents when they need to find a babysitter.

primary Sunday School department (3 years old through grade 2) present this in
December.
Spring Musical: Children in grades
3 through 9 present this.
Graduating Seniors

graduation during the Sunday morning coffee hour. Students are also recognized during the
Day Camp: For children who
have just completed kindergarten through grade 3. Luther Crest Bible Camp offers this at the

Valelntine’s Day is this month. It is a special day set aside to show that “extra
special” love. Our children need that “extra

the love from us and from God, through us.
Show them your love and Gods. Not only on Valentine’s Day but every
day. They are treasured gifts!!!
